Leeds Public School

Leeds Elementary School makes Valentine's cards for veterans each year. This year, one of our cards reached author James Puppe, a Vietnam Veteran who wrote "Dakota Attitude". Mr. Puppe was so moved by this random act of kindness he sent the school a copy of his book and bought treats for all the elementary students.

Our students were surprised to hear how their random act of kindness meant so much to others.

Pictured is Jolie with our copy of Mr. Puppe's book. James received Jolie's card and it is now framed and hanging on his wall to enjoy everyday.
